April 6-12th: The Most auspicious time of the Month
On April 6th, there is a full moon in Libra with the Sun tightly conjunct Jupiter and Chiron. Five days later, Venus moves into Gemini and this enlivening Sun/Jupiter conjunction trines resourceful Pluto on April 12th instilling a mid-month wave of life-loving confidence before entering a period of collective tumult during the intense Pluto-squared Solar eclipse in Aries on the 20th.
Use this time to get a running start in your unconditional love of life before the eclipse/ Mercury retrograde season arrives.
April 20th- New Moon/Solar Eclipse in Aries
Eclipse-O-Grade
This pivotal Solar eclipse in Aries is paired with the coming Lunar eclipse on May 15th. Between these two is what is called the “eclipse window:” a period of intense transformation and change.
This window is particularly volatile due to the New Moon’s square to Pluto and the fact that it takes place in the critical degree of 29 degrees. Adding to the upheaval, Mercury goes retrograde the following day in the sign up Taurus conjuncting Uranus, the planet of shock and enlivening change.
Emotions run high at this time, causing some to become brash and blind. Others will harness Pluto’s power to transform primal fear and ambition into self-reliance and resourcefulness.
At this time we be called to give up something in order to move forward. An old life wants to “go dark.” The details of the path forward may be unclear. Still, it is important to let the dead be dead and open to the unknown.

Mercury is the planet of transaction. Retrograde and square Uranus in the sign that rules banking (Taurus), this three week “eclipse-o-grade” period may be the time when banks move more aggressively to “eclipse” paper money and the transition into CBDC goes public.
After 8 months in the sign of Gemini, Mars moves into the sign of Cancer on April 30th. What house and overall department of life does Cancer rule in your chart? Use this Mercury retrograde period to organize and plan for a breakout in that area of your chart.
As Pluto in Capricorn exposes and collapses corrupt governments and institutions and those in power attempt to pull the world down around them- legislating “order out of chaos” in order to maintain control- let us give thanks to Saturn in Pisces for providing the humility and disciplined daily practice we need to continue to brighten consciousness, feel secure in God’s guidance and take solace in the flesh-friendly prayers of our childhood.
