THIS IS NOT your standard, one-size-fits-all astrology course! It’s a personally tailored, one-on-one Apprenticeship lead by a 20 year professional.
During our twelve, recorded 90 minute calls, I will personally guide, encourage, challenge and inspire you as you practice interpreting 36 charts (three per call). By the end of the Apprenticeship, I’m confident that you will have developed the skill to unpack and articulate the key elements of a birth chart.
We will use a refreshingly pithy and profound text from which you will be assigned short reading assignments. These will be tailored to your level of astrological understanding and the level of chart reading ability you come into the course with.
But, honestly, I am not much for book learning. When it comes to reading charts, most of what I know has come from:
1) Apprenticeships with professional astrologers
2) On-the-spot chart reading practice sessions done in a group format, facilitated by astrologers
3) 20 years of direct experience with thousands of clients from all over the world.
Because of this, I prefer a dynamic, one-on-one approach to teaching that will help you quickly develop the “knack” of chart-reading.
My job is to teach you how to quickly identify, prioritize and “weigh” the many chart factors so you don’t get overwhelmed and can focus in on what is most essential and helpful to the client.
Later, after you have achieved a degree of basic chart-reading confidence, you may wish to dive deeper into transits, progressions and relationship readings in my Intermediate and advanced chart reading courses.
Most importantly, you will learn to discern:
1) What are their essential wounds/gifts and what childhood predicament/parental relationship might have spawned this fertile combination grace and grit?
2) What are the most life-changing insights to emphasize? What kind of languaging will work best for this particular client and what perceptual tasks and Astrodharma homework assignments might you give them to stabilize this realization?
3) What pathways of employment, types of relationship, kinds of home and approaches to diet and health would be most suitable to them? What path of spirituality would be most fruitful and what Astro-Self-Inquiry practices might you prescribe?

Note: For this Beginner’s Level Training, there will be no need for students to order any astrology software, as we will be using the free online site, astro.com.
