IN-YOUR-FACE EMPTINESS
The advice of April is simple– if paradoxical. Thou shalt practice the art of aiming your Aries will at surrender to the Pisces Tao. Said another way: assume the posture of “In-your-face emptiness.”
It takes uncommon Aries guts to pause the do-er and commune with those 40,000 neurons in our heart, before plowing forward.
Mercury retrograde in Aries (April 1st- 25th) wholeheartedly agrees, but uses different language:
Go ahead. Say “yes” to those seminal groundbreaking ideas, but reserve full outward expression until the brighter, less glitchy months of May and June. In the mean time, move forward with gusto, behind the scenes.
The total Solar eclipse in Aries on April 8th (see full article) smiles at this conversation with mock amusement. You asked for deep tissue. Shut up and breathe.
Immediately after the eclipse, we have a Mars/Saturn conjunction (7th-13th). The black Sun has (with our sincere, ceremonial support) exposed our dead trajectories and recalibrated our life-direction. Time to roll off the massage table and devise a strategic course of action.
On April 20th, Jupiter conjuncts Uranus in Taurus. The mood brightens. Look for signs of affirmation: people and events that invite your fledgling vision to come out and play.
Next up: a shamanic Full Moon in Scorpio (square Pluto) on the 23rd. A welcome sense of power and resource may now surge through us, requiring considerable restraint to be interpersonally effective. Great for magnifying preexisting problems so we can see how to bring them into balance.

On the last day of the month (April 30th) Mars enters Aries. Ah, the green light we’ve been waiting for. Time to stitch our eclipse-battered egos back together and “fear forward.”

Apr 23rd- Full Moon in Scorpio
Apr 25th- Mercury goes Direct exact conjunct north node
Apr 29th- Venus enters Taurus
Apr 30th- Mars enters Aries
