Astrodharma Transit Report: June 2020

SAY HELLO TO THE GOLDEN SHADOW

WELCOME TO eclipse season, when outgrown aspects of our lives “go dark” so we can pivot into new life. Now that the angel of death is no longer a hazy concept in the future, but a guiding presence in our day-to-day lives, the Saturn/Pluto conjunction rests and is, itself, shrouded by the promise of new life.

After an action-stalling month in the dreamy sign of Pisces, Mars moves into “just do it” Aries on June 28th. In many ways, June is about preparing for this pivot. As the lockdowns begin lifting, many will be tempted to plunge out into the world with pent-up passion and unprocessed aggression. June’s retrogrades and eclipses: a chance to ponder: What’s the difference between healthy assertiveness and grasping for ego-hardening impact, self-expression and catharsis?

Before locking in a plan, put preconceptions aside and allow the Full Moon Lunar Eclipse in Sagittarius on June 5th to bring new information to light. Then, on the Solstice/New Moon Eclipse in Cancer on the 20th, finalize your intentions and begin taking the steps that will move you into a more Covid-compatible line of work and, possibly even a new home in July.

Mercury and Venus Retrograde

Normally associated with miscommunication and technology breakdowns, this month’s Mercury retrograde in Cancer (Jun 18- July 12) is surprisingly grounded and prudent. Forming no aspects to other planets, save the asteroids, Sirius (business success, honor, renown, wealth) and Metis (wisdom, prudence, deep thought) we are uniquely positioned to make intelligent, well-planned decisions.

Mercury retrograde in Cancer is a good time to do house renovation, research regarding home relocation, reconnect with estranged family members and finish up writing projects- particularly projects done at home or that promote a home business.

Overlapping with Venus retrograde (over on June 25th), this Mercury retrograde asks us to consider what Cupid looks like in the age of Covid.

Single? Time to inquire: Why did I choose to incarnate at a time when entrancing romance was overshadowed by a death-stinky plague? Saturn/Pluto barks: “So you’d get real about what relationship always was: raunchy, risky business.”

Saturn rules sobriety, time and the laws of karma. Pluto rules passion, power and psycho-sexual influence. What happens when Saturnian sobriety fails to restrain Pluto’s urge to penetrate and possess? When charisma and chemistry entwine us with a soul whose history and wounds we don’t take the time to assess? A sting that can throb for a lifetime.

Saturn rules boundaries and agreements. Pluto is all-or-nothing. No surprise, then, how mercilessly this intimidating duo has massacred the Tinder trance. Still messing around? Wake up. You’re living in a bygone era. Relationship was never, ultimately, for us. It’s a giveaway: a platform from which to overflow our loving service to the world.

Ready to quit dragging people into your values clarification project and settle into a serious, soul-smouldering Pluto love? Try repeating this Venus retrograde mantra as you survey prospective love interests:

Temple ruins from an ancient war:
All the faces we adore

Older? Coupled? There’s an entire generation suffering from this line-up of Capricorn planets (particularly those born between 1988 and 1993) and they’re hungry for some inspirational role modeling from a happy, healthy couple. Your seasoned counsel (plus a reading?) could save them years of painful experimentation.

Vaccine-ism

This month’s Eclipse-o-grade says: get your head straight now about the implications of forced vaccines down the line.

In this age of nanobots with unknown, and likely inconceivable, powers to impact– not only our health, but our very consciousness– turning over one’s blood chemistry to a medically unaccountable, highly compartmentalized, transnational corporation run by beings with unknowable ethics and unimaginable NWO agendas, requires an existential leap of faith, akin to religion, itself. Let’s call it “Vaccine-ism.”

Unlike other cults, this one is impossible to get out of. Once you’re inducted, you’re in for life.

Saturn/Pluto says, see though the Covid theater and face the facts: You’re living in a socially engineered society run by Corp/Gov think tanks and super computers that meticulously war-game every “bumbling” governmental statement, decision and media spin. Mismanaged “accidents” are extremely rare. On top of that, consider this: no astrological configuration puts society at greater risk of a globally orchestrated psyop designed to wrest control from its citizenry than the current Saturn/Pluto conjunction.

The Golden Shadow

Okay, fine. Saturn has made us steely enough to face the dark Capricorn underbelly of 2020. But wait. This, by itself, is not enough. The last thing the world needs is more people getting Saturn heavy about the unscrupulous power plays of Pluto. The whole point of facing the dark side of our own or another’s ego is to allow it to break our heart open and– like any good purgative– un-cloud our eyes enough to see the “golden shadow:” our repressed, unlived-out soul-callings, so we invest more passionately (and accurately) in life.

How to stay bright amidst so much endarkened commentary? Understand: Mind-on-a-countdown gets a perverse thrill out of apocalyptic narratives and depressing Dystopian drama. Why? Because “messing around in the ashes” is as close as ego ever gets to phoenixing into God.

Enter June: the perfect time to shift into a more soul-honoring use of the Gemini tongue.

Gemini Prayer

The tongue is an innocence-magnifying organ, designed to redirect our attention to the Divine Presence animating all. And so, today, we give thanks to You, Sly Shepherd, connoisseur of star-wines, birth times and the fruity bouquet of lifetimes, for giving us a glimpse of the benevolent arc of meaning, weaving through the god-awful headlines: the soul-spiraling stories of forgiveness and redemption unfolding in the backrooms of the orphaned ego dimension, as Your innocent offspring slowly, but surely, awaken from their lonely posturing.*

Albert Einstein once wrote, “There are only two ways to live your life. One is as though nothing is a miracle. The other is as though everything is a miracle.” Strict and uncompromising, Saturn/Pluto forces us to choose which kind of person we are.

Astrology, too, is intensely realistic; it recognizes that the embodied soul needs an embodied god. Why were we embedded into this Sun-circling psyche? So we might remember: we borrowed these time-and-space personalities from a blinding inferno of love and wisdom, warmth and light, and it’s our job to be the explosion we wish to see.
