Astrodharma Transit Report: June 2025

June is bright and curious. A time to teach by wondering precisely, out loud.

It’s also the stage set for a slowly tightening Saturn/Neptune conjunction (near-exact on July 15th, culminating in an exact conjunction on February 20th, 2026). A good time to walk out of movies.

Sometimes the winter of an activity, conversation or relationship comes earlier than expected. Will we “play god” by attempting to override the season? Or will we jump at the chance to rise beautifully from this deathbed, in a spirit of grateful goodbye?

Yes, some may find your exit abrupt, premature. Perhaps this is the moment we get to see who our “season-sensitive” friends are.

These are our soul-friends. They know: one person’s nail-biting thriller is another person’s “communion-flaccid cosplay” and “sticking around” could saddle them with sticky psychic residue.

Who knows how many lifetimes it will take to scrub clean that inky self-betrayal?

Don’t get me wrong. Saturn/Neptune fully supports abiding commitment and normal conversation– up to a point. We must palpate to determine the degree of shared paradigm. It’s a crucial, psychic assessment step that tells us how, when and if me-stories can migrate into mystery school.

Here’s five theaters. My advice: sit close to the exit.

Theater One: Fairy Tale Autonomy

Being human has always been humiliating. We flicker between soul-seeing presence and brutish archetype slave. Christians call it “good and evil.” Buddhists: “pure awareness and “compulsive selfing.” The terms are negotiable, but our predicament is not: we bang between the luminous and the robotic.

Yes, the robotic. Soon we will be surrounded by walking/talking embodiments of our own Robosapien mind.

Free from self-reckoning, un-tormented by the karmically inherited wound-gifts of a birth chart, many will look upon these robots with envy. In the ultimate act of Neptunian escape from the Saturn matrix, some will merge with them.

Others will feel– in the face of the machine’s fairy tale autonomy and presence-nullified knowership– a mounting passion to “stay human;” to be lit from within by the Unborn, Undying, Imperishable and remember that we, like the robots, know nothing without the churning current of a faraway power source.

This is Saturn/Neptune in Aries toughening us up for the robots. It takes an Aries warrior to confront the trials and tribulations of walking the world as a dream animal: to be gripped by ego’s fear and stubborn refusal to let eternity-with-eyes shine through us, then confess and undress our way back into delicious, life-changing presence.

But no need to wait for the robots. Notice: the metallic trance has already made landfall. Eruptions from the hurtable human lip sound more and more trifling and quaint compared to the encyclopedic precision of the chatbots.

Only mystics will survive this assault.

Theater Two: Orphaned Ego

Why do we stand limp and helpless in the face of this dystopian A.I. arms race and its corresponding socio-economic takeover?

Simple. Because orphaned ego does not want to be here. There is insufficient impetuous to save a world that our nervous system does not register as “safe at home in the heart of God:” a sublimity born of daily practice.

No practice? No problem. Perhaps you’re an extroverted mystic– a practitioner of meditative relating.

Privately or socially, Saturn/Neptune in Aries supports the disciplined development of soul-seeing skills honed in moments of collaborative self-inquiry and meditative relating.

This is the essence of The Styles of Awakening Training.

Theater Three: Mechanistic Malaise

A.I. interaction is coloring and reshaping our consciousness. The question is, are we Beginner’s Mind enough to notice how? Consider this:

Machines see us as animated dust. By chatting regularly with them, it’s just a matter of time before we “catch” their mechanistic “take” on who we are.

Beware, stylish orphan. The iPhone is becoming a simulated soul.

Neptune is drifting Saturn’s metallic, “mind on a countdown” worldview into our heads like an invisible virus. Our spiritual self-image may survive. Our standard of living may even thrive. But underneath, many a mind will live vexed by the knowledge that they’ve joined an army of superspreaders.

Theater Four: “Dying Age”

So many young ones passing these days. Have you noticed? How quickly the memory of name and form fades. This is Saturn/Neptune flummoxing our neat and tidy idea of what age is “dying age.”

Truth is, we weren’t designed to be bombarded with age-bound entities. Just in time, Saturn/Neptune offers up a cure: relate, first and foremost, to Deathless Being and “find out what remains.”

Where, oh death, is now your sting?
And where, oh grave, your victory?
-1 Corinthians 15:55-57 (paraphrased by musician, Brandon Lake)

Theater Five: High Fructose Fancy

It’s Gemini season. Your word is your wand. Time to release that high fructose fancy and recite your rice and beans:

Every plan my Father in heaven has not planned shall be dissolved and dissipated and the divine idea now comes to pass.

-Florence Shinn

Monthly Overview

The first week of June is the ideal time for socializing, networking, initiating new projects and making changes in our life. Also good for public speaking, teaching and entering mentorships.

The second and third week reality tests what we’ve started, demanding perseverance in the face of setbacks and potential feelings of insecurity. (This benevolent testing is particularly strong for people with personal planets in the first few degrees of the Cardinal signs: Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn).

During the fourth week, the Saturnian reality-testing continues but with more Jupiter-inspired opportunity and expansion. Obstacles subside giving rise to a palpable uptick in optimism and easy forward movement.

June 11th Full Moon in Sagittarius

Square the Lunar nodes, changes unfold that enable us to shine more brightly, providing we meet the demands of Mercury/Jupiter squaring the Saturn/Neptune conjunction. A time for creative discipline and step-by-step manifestation.

June 25th New Moon in Cancer

This New Moon is blessed by a conjunction with Jupiter– now in the sign of Cancer for an entire year. The Sun is also conjunct Jupiter, The Great Benefic, for the remainder of the month, allowing the last week of June to overcome the dreamy, unrealistic aspects of its square to Saturn/Neptune.

Promising for travel in search for a new home (beware of leaks, mold, dark stories untold) and soul-savvy teachers wishing to expand their offerings and/or start a school– provided they get a less bedazzled pair of eyes on that business plan.

Saturn/Neptune Affirmation

I am warmly okay with my sensitivity and limitations. As outgrown relationships and once-reliable structures dissolve all around me, I find security and steadiness in my selfless service to others.
