THE TRANSITION from November to December (Scorpio to Sagittarius) drives dark reckoning into soul-seeing redemption, with the crack of a whip!
This is the wheel of incarnation pressing us to loosen the grip of psychoanalyzed evil and give thanks for the cosmic privilege of having an awareness to wake up inside of.
Scorpio has done its work. The “shadow hound” identity-grab has been fully exposed. Now it’s time to let Sagittarius “seal the deal” as it loosens, then completely unravels, our inner “KnowerKnot.”
There. Now “wistfulness for the One Being” can stretch our face into whatever shape it likes.
Like split pea and onion dissolve into soup, we simmer in silence; You season to suite.
Okay then. Time to jump through the final hoop.
Teletubbies on Acid
It’s hard to un-see The One Being so the pressure is on: “shuck and jive” with the Teletubbies on acid, or become a social misfit. The wise one’s confess: soul-mirroring the Teletubbies is the least crazy way to stay gainfully employed in the divine play.
Eventually, all egos concede: Personality is not mine to strut.
We are– and always have been– soul-doctors on a house call. Our job is to ring each doorbell equipped with as many high-quality ego-infiltration instruments as possible. I call it The Styles of Awakening Training which starts on January 6th, 2025.
Why is mind so riddled with restlessness and anxiety?
Because the shrinking birth/death intervals goose-stepping all around us are sober reminders of our own terminal prognosis– right up until the point we make peace with the ephemerality of these “separate somebodies” and see, in their place, “eternity-with-eyes.”

Is awareness having a personality? Or has personality gone rogue– possessed by its own hypnotic sheen?
Hard to feel heartbreak for the self-forgetting of others if we’re not humbled, daily, by our own.
Did the political speech writers (astro-savvy as they are) successfully leverage the Mars/Pluto opposition to seduce you into a “vengeance vote?”
Hard to resist the perverse sense of belonging that “a shared enemy” provides when we are so socially fragmented and sangha-parched.
Nonetheless…
Reducing “the seamless field of sentience” to “friends, enemies and strangers” is the original pornography, the essence of “the Fall.” Meditative Astrology trains us to see through these anal subdivisions so we can commune with The Persona-Generator.

November Transits
December opens with a wizened New Moon in Sagittarius on December 1st.
Co-arising with Mercury Retrograde in Sagittarius (Nov 25- Dec 15) and quickly opposed by Jupiter and square Saturn, this is a good time to start a disciplined study or practice. Great for writers and guiders and holy reciters!
Awakened Sag knows: war or no war, the inner game remains the same. What the world needs now is divine spine. Let’s get started:

On Dec 15th, during the Full Moon in Gemini, Mercury ends its retrograde phase. Square Neptune and trine Chiron, this otherwise buoyant, high-spirited Moon goes a bit manic without divine pauses.
Now that Mercury is direct, consider setting up some regular online support that will steady you through the rest of this militant, six-month Mars/Pluto opposition.

Mar/Pluto Opposition
On a personal level, Pluto turns life black-and-white so we can discern the difference between our true path and conditioned role play. In this sense, extremity is its gift. On a collective level, the transit is famous for war and ruthless power struggle.
For most people, this power struggle will play out on their news feed but there are two periods when we may feel it closer to home: the days surrounding January 3rd and April 27th, 2025 when the opposition goes exact. Time to ask:
Is this passionate commitment or unhealthy obsession?
During the January 3rd opposition, Mars will be retrograde in Leo, increasing the odds of a dramatic miscalculation. This makes the January 3rd period a kind of flash point. Let us pray for the titans of the planet as they teeter between heroic restraint and blind impulsivity, shrewd strategy and blunt confrontation.
In the mean time, we have our own Mars to manage.
Mars Retro in Leo asks us to inquire:
1) What is my natural, God-given style of heroism?
2) What does my soul instinctively honor and chivalrously protect– every day of my life?
And most importantly:
3) How shrewdly and effectively do I de-escalate?
Remember: all psyches pour together, producing fizzy, global interactions. We are chemists in a laboratory of awareness, agitating and neutralizing worldwide with every lucid and lazy thought. Mars/Pluto wants us intensely aware: there are nine countries with leaders that have their “finger on the button.” It’s an ominous responsibility, requiring superhuman levels of discrimination and they need our help.
Christmas and New Years
The Christmas/New Years period is marked by a return of the Mercury/Jupiter/Saturn T-Square. Feeling trapped and weighed down by your work? Use the tension of this T-square as fuel to brainstorm a new business idea.
Souls most impacted: those with personal planets around 15 degrees of the mutable signs (Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, and Pisces).
Continuing the theme of professional pivots we have (just in time for New Year’s resolutions) a second New Moon in ambitious Capricorn on December 30th: an ideal time to launch a new project and/or rebrand.
