Astrology: The Ache for Communion

Astrology: The Ache for Communion

It takes study, contemplation and interactive reality-testing to fairly assess the validity of Astrology’s dharma and enter the realm of “felt archetype.” Nonetheless, millions are now smitten by the code-cracking resolve required to embrace or dismiss it. What’s going on? Why now?
The resurgence of astrology is a response to three kinds of skepticism or, better said, “underwhelm:”

1) Underwhelmed by religion

Impatient with unprovable theories that speak of a faraway God, today’s truth seekers are skeptical of anything that is not immanent and experiential. Enter astrology: an invitation to develop the felt sensing of soul.

2) Underwhelmed by therapy:

Sensing the flawed nature of all minds and all authorities, more and more seek psychological sovereignty: on-the-spot insights about how to understand and relate to a full spectrum of souls without becoming dependent on a therapist, teacher or any outside authority. This is where the “felt archetypes” of astrology shine.

3) Underwhelmed by ambition

Weary of society’s time-tethered ladder of success and the hollow victories of materialist culture, people are replacing “horizontal purpose” with astrology’s soul-spiraling model: a vision of the world as divine play; a lifetimes-long psycho-spiritual art project whose goal is “full arrival” in each moment so that we might serve as shiny soul-mirrors for each other, sublimely communing in the dream of separation.
