Astrodharma Transit Report: June 2023

Flowers of Eternity

JUNE is a welcome pause. With Mercury retrograde and the Eclipses over, it’s time to relax, shake off the stress and digest what we’ve learned.

In full support of this assimilation process is the revelation-rich full Moon in Sagittarius on June 3rd, whose theme is,

Releasing outworn beliefs and articulating our essential message to the world.

Square to Father Saturn, this far-sighted Full Moon delivers a punch of wizened spunk.

Carrying the articulation theme further, take advantage of this month’s opening Venus/Neptune Trine by networking with visionary collaborators and, perhaps, fashioning a mission statement and/or promotional materials that harness the pithy, paradigm-cracking power of Gemini soundbites. These are not dead concepts; they carry an otherwordly fragrance. They arise to reveal their source, then vanish back into it. They are the “flowers of eternity.”

Careful. In the background lurks a Venus/Pluto opposition. Don’t dictate. The push back will be abnormally intense. Sway.

Note for fridge: Influence without emptiness is a sophisticated tantrum.

Ahead, we have Saturn retrograde on the 17th which, together with the New Moon in Gemini on the 18th, commence a period of constructive planning in preparation for future accomplishment. A time to reassess our values and commitments, so we can set a realistic trajectory.

Purpose-Driven Collaborations

The second half of June favors the beginning of a months-long project or creative endeavor due to the approaching 40 day Venus retrograde in Leo (July 23rd- Sep 2nd). Taking Venus’s pre and post shadow periods into account, this Venus retrograde extends from Mid-June until the end of September. Romance comes and goes, says Venus retro. What sticks around is shared life purpose.

Busy Mercury

Mercury speeds through the signs of Taurus, Gemini and Cancer in June. This busy Mercury creates a desire to socialize, get out and go places. To stay grounded, we may need to schedule a few uncluttered, introspective days (especially 11-26). You might even try a “digital detox” on the Gemini New Moon on the 17th/18th when Neptune squares the Sun. Something slumbers unnamed in the soul. Moon in Gemini can fix that.

Communion Coaches

On June 21st the Solstice signals a pivot. Mental energy subsides, giving way to more empathic support. As Pluto retrogrades back into Capricorn on June 11th until October 10th (shaking, once again, the pillars of society) we may be called to offer comfort (if not a bed and roof).

This is God drafting us into an army of undercover Communion Coaches.

For so long, our life purpose was difficult to define. Why? Because we thought we were living in peace time, surrounded by relatively well-adjusted psyches. Now we know that behind every shrewdly marketed me-story is a homeless ego suffering from existential PTSD and our “job” is simply to learn the art of meditative relating and listen others into the fullness of Being.
