“Moving Forward Behind the Scenes“
WELCOME to the true beginning of 2023. The planets of action and communication are finally functioning at full capacity and all planets are direct until May 2nd.
Devote the first 2 & 1/2 weeks to mapping out a vision. Then take the vision inward, working with the parts and players behind the scene to prepare for a launch on or around the Spring Equinox (March 20th). By “moving forward behind the scenes,” you allow yourself a needed period of retreat even as you receive visions of what wants to happen through you later.
Think of the Sun in Pisces window between February 18th and March 20th as the pause between incarnations: a time to meditatively cultivate the field from which future manifestations will emanate.
Feb 5th Full Moon in Leo: The Karaoke Moon
February begins with a Full Moon in Leo on February 5th. Let’s call it the “Karaoke Moon,” as it favors dynamic self-expression and an alert, active affirmation of life. This is a time of leadership and potential culmination.
T-squared with Uranus in Taurus, this Full Moon carries a sense of urgency and time running out (especially for people with planets 15-17 degrees in Fixed signs: Taurus, Leo Scorpio, Aquarius. Banish those limiting beliefs and strike out into “the right kind of trouble”, lest the candle of life snuffs out.
A few days later (and just in time) Mercury will conjunct Pluto for five days (Feb 8-12) delivering a wave of confidence and penetrating commitment, undimmed by challenging conditions. Good time to research the hidden details before signing a promising contract.
Mystic Fortitude
The Sun enters Pisces on February 18th and the New Moon follows a few days later. Then Venus enters fiery Aries on the 20th, adding a courageous initiating spark to our end-of-the-year vision quest.
It takes spiritual guts to pause the do-er and commune with those 40,000 neurons in our heart.
What will we be called to do when we resurface on the Equinox? Will the voice of the soul ask us to make minor variations or a radical departure? Either way, the joy of life returns as we reawaken Mystic Fortitude: the courage to honor our intuition and follow the signs and symbols so generously provided by this phantasmagorically guided universe.
