Astrodharma Transit Report: January 2023

Sober Strategy Meets Unbridled Tenderness

The first two weeks of 2023 are ideal for silent contemplation.

With both Mars in Gemini and Mercury (Gemini’s ruler) are retrograde until the 18th, interpersonal communication and attempts to move forward are restrained, focused and disciplined.

A great time to plan and strategize for the upcoming year, go on a retreat or begin a new curriculum of study.

Your mission, should you decide to accept it: smile through the sobriety and setbacks as you remember:

Fully arriving is what makes us happy. In this radiant stillness, unmolested by any story of wanting, we are a fountain of causeless happiness.

By the time we get to the 18th both retrogrades are officially over, but it will take until the February 5th Full Moon in Leo before the season of sobriety and self-possession fully fades.

There. Now it’s time to get out there and watch blue alien children swim across the big screen.

By the time we get to the New Moon in Aquarius on January 21st, faces start trickling back out into the commons.

Then, when Venus enters merciful Pisces from Jan 26th to Feb 20th, the disciplined restraint of Capricorn and the inward-leaning retrogrades begin lifting in earnest as the spigot of unbridled tenderness begins to flow freely, once again.
