A Vision Wild and Noble
From February 4th to April 29th, there will be no retrograde planets in the sky. This is rare and, luckily, coincides with a time when buoyant Jupiter is strongly placed in the sign of its traditional ruler, Pisces. Think: “faith finding reasons for more faith.”
Mars and Venus will be traveling very close to each other in the sign of Capricorn from February until the end of March, allowing couples to harness the fire of personal chemistry to work steadily towards a collaborative worldly goal. Also favored: investigating strategic real estate investments and the painstaking resolution of legal battles.
Mercury retrograde in Capricorn goes direct just after the New Moon in Aquarius on February 3rd, further cementing the month as a time for inspired research. No jumping into new, longterm commitments until the post-retrograde shadow period comes to an end on the 23rd.
On February 11th, Mercury will conjunct Pluto. This transit has been building for two weeks and will continue until the full Moon in Leo on the 16th.
Mercury/Pluto conjunctions are famous for bringing dark secrets to light. In the sign of Capricorn, the muck-raking revelations take place on the political stage. Labor tensions will likely boil to the surface as the freedom-loving citizenry (Uranus) continues to rail against monolithic Saturn.
In short, February grounds and repurposes intimate unions, re-energizes our activism and restores our faith in the possibility of overturning tyrannical mandates.
Feb 1st New Moon in Aquarius
Conjunct Saturn, this new moon activates the ongoing Saturn-Uranus square, making it the perfect time to cut cords with the past and reinvent our life. Now is the time to nail down the practical steps that will manifest a wild and noble vision in the future. First step: use the power of Aquarian detachment to release yourself from stories of confidence and insecurity, so the larger arc and destiny of your life can channel spontaneously through you.
Feb 17th Full Moon in Leo
The time for careful review of our options is coming to an end. Concurrent with Uranus trining the Venus/Mars conjunction, this magnanimous, community-minded Full Moon asks us to “go public” with our vision and assemble a creative team. The final days of February favor the establishment of alternative sources of income and transitioning Aquarian consciousness studies into a grounded, Capricorn profession (ie., Astrology). Said another way, we’re allowed to get paid to love people!
