Astrodharma Transit Report: October 2020

FORGET the Plandemic. The monkey juice jab. Social media manipulation. Orange Man Bad. The Soros-paid rioters. The U.S. election. Banksters dancing politicians, like puppets with an erection. The time for dark ruminating has come to an end. It’s time to confess what we’re actually living through: a cosmic temper tantrum:

Pull down the me-story monuments! Stop the endless wars against astounding lucid confusion! Confess the micro-aggression of addressing eternal souls as timebound personalities! Rail against the machine that drives dream animals into duality-hardening discourse! Cry madly for the grace of becoming a shiny soul-mirror for every orphaned ego that God puts on our path until, together, we make poverty, history!

Oct 1st Full Moon in Aries: Burning Down Time

The tantrum begins with an incendiary full Moon in Aries on October 1st that co-arises with an exact square between Mars and Saturn. This lights the fuse. The second full Moon on the 31st: the detonation. There. That gives you a full Lunar cycle to polish your soul-mirror. Unemployed? You just got re-hired.

This Full Moon is conjunct Chiron. Private wounds go public. Echoing this theme, Mars and Uranus are opposing Mercury in Scorpio. Can’t understand how anyone would consider setting fire to a pristine forest an act of political dissent? Consider this:

Time is eating us alive. That leaves two options: Either we proactively burn down this puppy via meditative relating or we nihilistically contribute to the conflagration by becoming a trash-talking toy of the Corporatocracy. We pour gas on other people’s minds, then throw the match of opinion. Meditative or meddlesome, we all find some way to burn down time.

Mercury Retrograde: Oct 13th- Nov 3rd

Next up: Mercury retrograde in Scorpio on the 13th. On the same day, the Sun moves into an exact opposition with Mars, triggering a T-square to the Saturn/Pluto/Jupiter conjunction.

This fiery flashpoint holds a haunting resemblance to last March when Mars formed a conjunction to Saturn/Pluto during a Mercury retrograde in Pisces. This time it squares Saturn/Pluto during a Mercury retrograde in Scorpio. In March, after a period of Piscean confusion and– some would say– deception, the WHO finally declared the virus a pandemic. Expect a similar denial-breaking proclamation mid-month.

For the next 2 1/2 weeks (until the Nov 3rd U.S. election) Mercury and Mars will both be retrograde, urging us to pause and introspect. A stellar time for a disciplined project hammered out quietly in the background. Launch date: after Mars goes direct on November 13th.

What to expect from those who refuse to curb speech and restrain action? A restless flip-flopping between Mars anger and Saturn depression. A barrage of impulsive, ineffectual outbursts, sewing seeds of suffering that could take lifetimes to karmically sort out. Riled up by the action on the streets? Feeling pulled to do something? Good idea. Slay the dragon.

Slaying the Dragon of Doer-ship

Got personal planets at 20-30 degrees of Aries, Cancer, Libra or Capricorn? The following Astrodharmic pointers are particularly relevant to you. Choose one and make it your focus for the month.

1) Identity Through Doer-ship

Mars square Saturn frustrates our attempts to get identity through doer-ship. In this sense it functions like a zen stick. Each stinging setback: a chance to sit up straight and more faithfully embody noble silence. Every frustrating delay and unforeseen roadblock: a chance to hear Saturn whispering, “Stop! Stand still in this ego-slain silence, and ask: Minus any kind of accomplishment, who am I?

2) Righteous Folly

Close your eyes. Can you hear the clashing of swords? The angry cries, the groans of the wounded? It’s medieval. The serfs are rushing the castle. A crown-hungry warlord (the deep state) has riled the masses. Youthful idealism has, once again, been stoked and harnessed, turning citizen-soldiers into unwitting pawns.

This is strategic Saturn exploiting reactive Mars. This is CorpGov installing the new boss, same as the old boss.

Is there another way? Yes.

Confess: No amount of bad-mouthing rebellion will “settle the score” with people that our soul “elected” to deliver the sting of karma we earned from past lives.

How do we know the difference between being immaturely reactive and militantly on-purpose? Simple: Let ego flat-line on the meditative operating table, then see what kind of role play is compelling enough to send “space with a face” out into the chest-pounding streets of the collective psyche.

3) Slay the Dragon

Life is strewn with “forced pauses.” The forced pause between lifetimes: the mother of them all.

Understood in this way, the opposite of death is not merely “the continuation of life,” but the choice to consciously pepper one’s life with “voluntary pauses.” This sucks the victimhood out of death.

The most heroic of voluntary pauses: meditation.

Having slain the dragon of “forced pause,” the meditative mind is plunged into a world untouched by Saturn or Mars, pausing or persevering. We step free of our shrinking birth/death interval and come home to the “unborn, undying, imperishable” essence of who we are.

4) Dharma Combat

Mars square Saturn/Pluto delivers a harsh ultimatum:

Deepen your mommy/daddy wounds by re-enacting Pluto power struggles with Saturn authority figures, or forego this orgy of impulsivity and engage in deep dharma combat. How? By wrestling free of reactive habits of mind through meditation and self-inquiry, prayer and mantra.

October Mantra

You turn the wheel of heaven, silence is Your cry
Dreams don’t need saving, shalom this orphaned eye

~H.R.

Oct 31st Full Moon in Taurus: Tectonic

This famously fixed and change-resistant Full Moon is tightly conjunct shocking, revolutionary Uranus. Also close by, Black Moon Lilith: revealer of all truths dark and visceral. Expect a last-minute “October surprise” delivered to shock the populace and sway the U.S. election.

Breathe. Consider this a dharma bell. Minus the overlay of mind, it’s is just strong energy moving. Will we be enlivened from the inside or shocked from the outside? Will we be charged with electric presence or will the collective tension and stress dump directly into our nervous system?

Will the protests– or, worse, a false flag– permit the U.S. election to take place? Will Uranus deliver the shock of martial law and the de facto continuation of the Trump presidency? Or will the Scorpio Queen step in for another swing at the Rooster King?

Assuming the election goes forward, Mercury retro will likely muddle and delay the final tally or deliver a litigated election. The final outcome? Trump’s transits on Election Day are remarkably resilient.

No matter who wins, you win– if you cherish it all as divine play.
