“Psychopath” is Big Pharma-speak for what is dharmically understood as “unwitnessed ego” and the only one allergic to unwitnessed egos is unwitnessed ego!
In this sense, we’re all Epstein island regulars.
Monster-hunting keeps the perpetrator “over there–” an act that is, in itself, semi-psychopathic because it trivializes our own empathic failures and distracts from the cold-blooded callousness and self-absorption that’s happening by varying degrees in virtually everyone, to the extent our unwitnessed hive of me-stories attempts to feel solid, separate and real through “chronic selfing.”
What does all of this have to do with astrology? Plenty.
Without an experientially earned tool kit of soul-seeing skills, we are, to some extent, “archetype slaves” blindly reacting to the circumference of people with unconscious bias, and projected self-hatred. In this sense, we are no better than the schoolyard psychopath hovering around a fight, encouraging the combatants.
The Good-Enough Guru
Sometimes the best decision we can make is to not decide. This is particularly true when eclipse season overlaps with Mercury retrograde. (Feb 26th-March 20th) It’s like the pause between incarnations.
Yes, day-to-day decisions must be made. But by who?
Will we charge blindly through the fog or make cozy every room in God’s come-and-gozy-woezy mansion?

Notice the faces of the bruised and bloodied, stunned into a protective trance. Amazing how God buffers set-backs with surrealness, no?
Ask yourself: Are they shocked or graced? Is this mammalian defense mechanism or a foretaste of our unscathed spirit body? What if Earth is Pisces hospital and every soul is nursing a throbbing karmic injury?

Fish Fight
With Mercury retro in Pisces, straight-arrowed ambition goes limp. The path forward starts to undulate and weave like a Pisces fish. Mind calls it “aimless.” Soul calls it “the fertile not-knowing that precedes visionary Aries action.”
Hang in there! The Aries new year approaches on March 20th. This year’s equinox packs a particularly powerful punch as it coincides with Mercury going direct.
March begins with a combustive Full Moon.
March 3rd Full Moon Lunar Eclipse in Virgo
(Most affected: people with planets and points between 9 and 15 degrees in the Mutable signs).
On Feb 28th, right on cue, war broke out in Iran during the exact square between Mars and Uranus– an early trigger to this Lunar Eclipse. With so many planets heated and compressed into a steamy Pisces fist during a Mercury retrograde, it’s hard to imagine a more perfect formulae for the fog of war.
Still, there is grace.
This Full Moon is conjunct an exulted Venus and trine an exulted Jupiter, helping us to Pisces reimagine how we Virgo serve. Being an eclipse, however, it requires some letting go.

Hot on the heels of the March 18th New Moon in Pisces, and coinciding with Mercury going direct, this year’s Equinox delivers the initiatory goods.
With the Sun, Neptune and Saturn all conjunct in the sign of Aries, forming an opportune sextile to empowering Pluto, this is the moment when the fog begins to lift and a clear path forward emerges. Mars and Mercury continue their auspicious trine to Jupiter while Moon/Venus/Chiron in Aries form a predominantly positive square to Jupiter.
While the oppressively privileged “food fight” over how to reshape their precious “new world order,” we are, during this final week of March, blessed with a new year, a new vision and a mandate to “fear forward” into a timidity-trouncing April.
