AFTER SIX MONTHS of nonstop retrogrades – Venus, Mercury, Mars, then Mercury again (over on July 1st) – the way forward becomes a tad clearer in July. Delayed projects and stymied relationships, caught in the tug-of-war required to fashion a mutually motivating, realistically updated commitment, get green lighted on July 20th when Saturn (the last holdout) goes direct.
Like the first sliver of moonlight appearing after an eclipse, romanticism peeks out from the shadow of realism on July 16th when Jupiter leaves the sign of Cancer and struts into the stubbornly optimistic, life-celebrating sign of Leo for one year.
In addition, Uranus opposes Mars until the 15th – a great time to drop the tired logic and let your compass be aliveness and growth. Bottom line: use the first half of July to smudge yourself free of past moods, then stand strong in the realization that Rome was always burning and mind has always called causeless happiness “fiddling” (while Rome burns).
