Frequently Asked Questions

WHAT DOES “ASTRODHARMA” MEAN?

“Astrodharma” points to a synthesis of the intensely personal insights of astrology with the universal teachings (dharma) of Buddhism. Unlike the standard one-size-fits-all approach, Astrodharma is an attempt to fine tune ancient, nondual principles and practices to the unique “style of awakening” of each individual. HOW OFTEN SHOULD I GET A READING?

Here are four options, depending on your current need and interest:

1) Annually
For those who desire an easy-to-apply road map of the challenges and opportunities of the coming year. Often scheduled on one’s birthday.

2) Quarterly
For those with an enduring, personal/professional interest in staying awake to the evolving challenges and opportunities in their lives.

3) Monthly
For clients in a period of transition or crisis who need ongoing personal support and experientially verifiable reminders of the benevolence and purpose residing in the challenging feelings and situations they confront.

For students and newcomers to astrology who want to intensively deepen their understanding of their charts and the overall Astrodharmic approach.

I’M SKEPTICAL. WHY SHOULD I BELIEVE IN ASTROLOGY?

Skepticism—insofar as it is a code word for “I haven’t experienced it, but I remain attentive and open,” is the epitome of a healthy, present-focused mind.

Until astrology becomes perceptually commonplace— akin to gravity, hot or cold— believing in it is not just silly, but dangerous. The last thing we need is more people loaded up with conceptual kindling, vulnerable to the latest spark of adolescent righteousness, fanned into the flames of dogma-driven war.

My suggestion: Get a reading from a few reputable professionals, then do some in-depth study and reality test it for yourself. You can start with the affordable Single Question Reading, if you like. Still unconvinced? It ain’t your gravity.
